Self-drilling Dowel

Rothoblaas in partnership with Canopy Products brings you the Holtz Technic brand of Self-drilling dowel.

Ideal for joining knee beams and making continuous beams, restoring shear and moment forces. The small dowel diameter guarantees joints that offer high stiffness. Used in timber structures such as pergolas, garden timber structures, Glulam structures, car barns. Regularly used in our postbase X10 and F70 range. Also used in the Alumidi and Alumini timber connectors.

• Brackets Alumini HT, Alumidi HT and Alumaxi service classes 1 and 2.
• Bright zinc plated carbon steel.
• Special self-performing timber-to-metal tip geometry that reduces the possibility of breakage.
• The cylindrical countersunk head ensures an optimal appearance and meets fire- restnace requisites.
• Increased diameter of 7.7mm ensures a shear strength of over 15% and enables the optimisation of the number of fasteners.

• Certified for fastening standard Rothoblaas/ Holtz Technic plates such as the TYPE X post base. See product spec for structural values.
