Our range of 304 Stainless Steel post bases are designed to be resistant to extreme exposure to the elements. By keeping the timber post above the ground level out of the damp areas and allowing the post foot to dry out after rain it helps prevent decay and prolong the life of the post or column.

Regular used in car barns, porches, pergolas and other timber structures.

Fittings Kit Includes:

• SSSD- X4 M12 100mm Thru bolts. X4 10mm Oak round dowel- 175mm to allow it to be cut on site.
• SSSD1- Resin option x4 M12 x 160mm capsules & Bolts. X4 10mm Oak round dowel- 175mm to allow it to be cut on site.
• SSSD2- Stainless steel dowelling option. Please advise us of the dowell length in the notes section.

• Technical-IMPORTANT. Please note on all our range of stainless steel post bases the maximum safe height above the finished floor level for any of the post supports is 200 mm. The post is designed for use with Timber engineered buildings and porch posts.
• The post bases have a base plate with a central tube post welded to the base plate and the load bearing plate. A fxing plate is welded centrally over the load bearing plate. The base plate has four 14mm holes, 28mm centres from the edge to receive 12mm fixings. The fixing plate has four 10mm holes to recieve 9.5mm dowels of your choice.
•  Bottom plate 155mm x 155mm x 12mm, 326mm high, post plate 75mm x 75mm x 8mm, verticle fixing plate 80mm x 50mm x 8mm, weight 5kg-Awaiting engineers calculations- Axial load of 2.36kn (240kg), Lateral load of 3.4kn (346kg) based on on the canopy roof details contained within our PDF drawing/product SSBFH0 can be considered for your calculations.
• The visible tube part is brush polished.
